I have tried and spent hundreds of dollars to come up with items that really work for me and allow me to gain more independence.
One convenient kitchen tool that my niece purchased for me and was a real hit, is a simple but wonderful utensil.
She bought me a battery operated bottle opener that opens many sizes of bottles and jars with no effort needed from me. It can open 1.2 to 3.5 inches diameter lids.
Another plus is that I have had it for a year and the batteries are still good.
It opens everything from small water and juice drink bottles to larger size jars such as pickle, jelly, mayo, pimento, sauces and other various food jars. It is fantastic and something I use regularly.
